We blessed our sweet little angel on September 11, 2011. She was just shy of 3 months old, which is a little old for most blessings.. but it worked out perfect for everyone being able to come. It was a perfect beautiful day. We blessed her in our home ward and had such a wonderful turnout. I felt such overwhelming love from all the support our family and friends showed. Her blessing circle was enormous, and filled with wonderful men who are such great examples of what a priesthood leader should be. Taylor gave her a wonderful sweet blessing. It was so special to have him bless our daughter. He is the best daddy in the whole world, and she is his little princess.

I spent the nights before her blessing trying to come up with a dress for her to be blessed in. I really wanted to make her something that she could keep forever. Richelle gave me this darling pettiskirt pattern and it turned out to be just what I had hoped for. She looked like a little angel sitting in a cloud ;). It was a huge ruffly silky gown fit for my dolly.

We reserved the clubhouse where we live and had a big gathering with lots of amazing food and good company. It was amazing to see all of our family come together to love our sweet little girl. She is so blessed to be part of or families.

My grandparents (moms parents) are so great, I just love them. Camillia, my amazing baby wooing cousin, can cuddle Brynnley like no other.

We had delicious food. My mom's amazing sloppy joes, chips, tons of fruit and vegetables, raspberry lemonade and my friends amazing lemon raspberry cupcakes. mmm.

Grandma (dad's mom). I quickly grabbed my camera while she was holding her 11th great grandchild. She is the sweetest woman I know, she is quiet and reserved, but her heart is full of kindness. I wish my Grandpa could have been here to hold my sweet girl. He would have called her gorgeous and given her every good compliment known. I have a feeling he was there the day she was born holding her hand as she entered this life. I am sure they met before, and they will meet again some day.

My cute cousin Melayla. My kids love her, Brynnley is totally content to play with her and sit on her lap, and Caden.. well let's just say he calls her "my girl" and "my girlfriend". We love this girl.

...and neither one of them are looking ;)
Mimi and Poppy with their first granddaughter! This picture of my mother-in-law is so sweet. I love it.
Nana and Papa + my amazing babysitting, magic baby working, wonderful, handsome brothers ;)

I snagged a few pictures of little Brynn in her cute blessing dress. She has grown and changed so much, I miss that little baby already.
She looks like a little angel.

Thank you to everyone who came and gave Brynnley lots of love. We have the best family in the whole world.
Big thanks to my sister {auntie A} for taking almost all of the pictures. I couldn't have captured this special day without her!

..we also shared this special day with my best friend who had her sweet little baby that evening! I sure love her little boy {we may even arrange a marriage between him and miss b} ;)

Football season is something we really look forward to at our house. Caden went to his first football scrimmage when he was 3 weeks old! We had the whole team, at the time, sign his onesie.. and Bronco signed the butt flap (the only space left) ;) Let's just say, we like to start our kids early with a love for this sport. Brynnley was about 3 months old when we took her to her first football game. I was honestly planning on skipping out on this whole season. It's stressful to take a baby to football games.. Especially when the weather always seems to be so extreme: blistering hot or freezing cold (sometimes snowing). This fall perfectly mild and I actually made it to 3-4 games! Brynn was such a good girl and slept through most of the games. She is a pretty easy going little thing. We made the first home game of the season a family event (BYU vs UTAH). Caden loves BYU football (he loves BYU anything). He dressed up in his football jersey from Halloween last year and asked me to paint his eyes black. I saw a cute football onesie on Pinterest and decided to whip one out. I found that cute long sleeved onesie at kid to kid for .50 cents and hand stitched some left over felt on to it. She looked so stinkin' cute! We enjoyed the rest of the games from the comfort of our living room on ESPN (amazing!). It was a great year and we're excited for the next season already!

Dolly Girl is the name my Mom used to call me and my sister when we were babies. It is so fitting for my wide eyed, puckered lip baby.
She is the sweetest little dolly.

I can't believe she is already 6 months old. She is growing and maturing so quickly. She weighs 16.2 lbs and is measuring at 25.75 inches. She is right at the 50th percentile for weight and height. I started her on baby food when she turned 4 months. I really never tried baby food with Caden until it was kind of too late.. and he never liked it. From the first bite she has gobbled up everything I give her. She loves acorn squash, avocados and pears. Those are her favorites. The other foods she has eaten till now include: Green Beans, Sweet Potatoes, Carrots, Apples, Bananas and Organic Brown Rice Cereal. I have made most of my baby food and frozen it, I never knew it was so easy! She loves to drink water out of a cup or sippy.  I am still exclusively breastfeeding her. She is completely against the bottle and binky, I'm hoping to have a breakthrough with this before she is a year. Brynn is a very loud baby.. she squeels and screams just to hear her own voice. She hasn't been as loud the last few weeks, but I am sure it is only because her squeals have been replaced with constant jabber. She says "mama-mama-ma" when she is winy or crying. She has learned how to slobber with her tongue. I don't know that Caden ever really slobbered, but Brynn can soak me in a matter of minutes. She gets a perfect spray that can cover my face from 2 feet away. She is all around just plain noisy! She first attempted sitting up at 5 months, and was sitting up pretty well by Christmas (just after 6 months). She is really stable now and I feel pretty comfortable leaving her by herself on the floor. She has been scooting a little bit, using only her legs to propel herself. If she needs to get something a few feet away she is on the move. She is a toy fanatic, she has been very serious about toys since she was about 4 1/2 months. She will sit very content with a pile of toys around her for over an hour. Don't go taking her toys or she'll let the whole world know. Her favorite toy right now, funny enough, is also Caden's favorite toy. Daddy got Caden a "real" Buzz Lightyear toy for Christmas. She loves to move his limbs and push his buttons and open his helmet! She absolutely adores Caden, he is usually first in her room every morning climbing into her crib to say good morning. She smiles and laughs at him constantly. He is the funniest thing she has ever seen. Unfortunately she is not a very good sleeper anymore.. She went from sleeping through the night up to 4 months to now waking up 4-5 times a night. Last night I put up a black out curtain and started swaddling her again and she only woke up once.. SO.... I'm hoping maybe the sleep schedule will improve. She smiles so big whenever daddy comes home. I think she understands who "mommy" and "daddy" are. I will tell her "where's daddy?" and she will look around until she spots him, then wait for him to give her eye contact, smile then hide her face. She is so bashful, it's really so adorable. She has the most incredible big blue eyes. They are that perfect big almond shape and curve up on the sides. Her eye lashes are so curly and long, they looks like they were crimped with a lash curler. We get comments wherever we go; people always ask "where can I get one of those?" or "can I take her home with me?".  She is the sweetest thing. I love having a baby around. She has brought so much joy to our home. I love watching my sweet kids interact and {kind of} play together. They melt my heart.

I will get caught up on here eventually.. hopefully.
Caden is starting Pre-School on Thursday!
