Two Sunday's ago (the day after the garage adventure) we had a fun day with Poppy. We went up to see him and he made us some amazing raspberry waffles. I love his breakfast foods. Seriously, he introduced me to the peanut butter on waffles and french toast. Breakfast can't get much better than that! We played at the house for a little bit. Caden was throwing a deflated purple ball down from the loft upstairs. Brynnley was thrilled to chase it as he threw it, then Taylor would toss it back up. She was all over the place and having a blast. It was another warm day so we headed down to the park by his house. I wandered the park with the kids while Taylor and his dad played frisbee. Brynnley loves the swings, it's basically the only thing she can do at the park right now, but she enjoys it. Poor Caden was squinting and covering his eyes the whole time we were there. He was so badly sunburned on his face and eyes from the day before! I felt so bad. There were so many kids and families at the park that day. It was a nice day to be out. We took the kids home nice and worn out for bedtime, the best way to end the day.
