Hee Haws has been a tradition for us for a long time. I remember going there at Halloween time every year in high school. We love this place and every year we look forward to it. Caden could go a million times and never get sick of it. They always seem to have new activities every year. This year we went on the night when they did the pumpkin drop. They took people up in a crane and dropped pumpkins from the top down on a car. It was explosive. Pumpkin was flying everywhere! They had a new little donut stand. Let me tell you.. these donuts were to die for. We devoured a whole bag in minutes. I hope they keep that stand for years to come... because I'm pretty sure we will keep them in business. It was a nice night, a little chilly, but it was a beautiful evening. Brynnley sat totally happy and warm in the sleepy wrap, she fell asleep after about an hour. We took the hay ride, rode the animal train several times, petted the crazy animals. There was this one pig with an ear of corn in his mouth; running around the pen with chickens, ducks, goats and sheep chasing after it. It was quite a sight. They had this nasty old lady sitting in a rocking chair by the donut stand. She would rock and cackle and every few minutes she would fog up and shake. It was actually kind of creepy. Caden thought it was funny at first.. but he was terrified when she started shaking and smoking everywhere ;) We had a great time, just our little family. Thanks for another great year Hee Haws!
